There was a good turn out of 15 people for the fourth leg of the clubs ‘Jarvis trophy & the Russell jnr trophy even though the weather was awful.
The wind farm service vessel was taking shelter from the weather at the top of the pier we fished the gate end .
With not much showing out most of the anglers decided to fish down the wall to catch the small fish to amass points, there were no dogfish landed although one poor angler managed to lose a couple on the surface.
Steve quilliam narrowly won over Dave walls who had a late rush of fish, so the final results are as follows, first Steve quilliam 263cm, Dave walls 237cm, third Michael emery 136cm.
pools were bag Steve quilliam, heaviest other Michael emery coalfish 1-02 , second heaviest other went to Kevin doyles 4 ounce rock ling & the pairs were Steve quilliam & Michael emery 399cm.
after 4 legs fished the top three are s.quilliam 15.5 points, 2nd Dave walls 14 & 3rd mike emery 12.
The junior Russell trophy points so far are in top spot is jack kissack 15.5 points, second Tony clague with 9 & third is jams Humphries 6 points
