There were twelve anglers that turned out for the second leg of the Jarvis competition on the Victoria pier, amongst them was Dave walls who has made a return to the club.
it turned out to be dave’s night by winning every pool, it was a slow grind with very little showing as we were fishing over low water, but when the tide turned the fish came on the feed and Dave made full use of his corner peg to take the win with a mixed bag for 200cm, second place went to Billy booth with 189cm and third went to Kevin Doyle with 140cm.
Dave also took the heaviest dog pool 1-10.5 & heaviest other with a pout of 7.75 ounces & he was paired with ray Hughes and had a total of 260cm to take the pairs as well.
