This is an eight hour comp and will be a 10species drawn out of the hat comp.This is also a boundry comp with fishing to take place

NORTH OF CLAY HEAD,AND SOUTH OF MAUGHOLD HEAD.

THIS PUTS THE PADDLE WHEEL OUTSIDE THE BOUNDRY ZONE IS THAT CLEAR TO EVERYBODY.

when are you making a decision on the comp weather wise jamie ?

Descision will be made by lunch time saturday, toying with having comp on the monday, if you not all working the bank holiday , the weather at this point in time favours the monday better, but we all know how it can change so quickly .

After much grovelling , and agreeing. To having baby all day Sunday, I can do Monday

some of us have to work ! got no holidays left !! got to wotk till about one

Right i hope that this will suit all, (probably not) but here goes , fishing will be from 2pm til 6.30pm fishing the boundries as stated with 10 species drawn. the wiegh-in will take place at the yacht club at 7.15pm.

you will have to get your boats outeither sunday night or early monday morning but i am sure that you can work it out for yourselves .

I hope that this is a satisfactory comprimise for all as wewill all have to juggle certain commitments.

Had a good think about it and the forecast is too good to only go fishing in the afternoon. I have to move the boat down and I'm off work so I'm out for the day, goodluck to all fishing the comp , they'll be a few pink heads at the weigh in

There is still nothing to stop you from fishing the comp though Steve , remember 1st prize is still £100 , it would help pay your disel for the day.

There has been a little concern today about the 10 species drawn aspect for tommorrows comp, and whether or not there would be enough species available in the zone that is to be fished.
well i have had a quick look at what should be able to be caught and the list adds up to 24, none of which are add balls , just fish that should be able to be caught in this area at this time of year.
The list as i see it is :

BALLAN WRASE, BULL HUSS, CALIG, COALFISH, COD, CONGER EEL, CUCKOO WRASSE, DAB, GREYGURNARD , HERRING, HADDOCK, LAUNCE, DOGFISH, LING, MACKERAL, POOR COD, POUTING , RDE GURNARD, SPUR DOG, TOPE, TUB GURNARD, WHITING AND TWO OR THREE DIFFERENT RAYS.There might be others available but this list proves thatthe comp should be a great race to the total of ten.
