The all too familiar crap weather has been forecast for Sunday. With this in mind how would you feel about bringing the comp forward to Saturday instead as at the moment Saturday looks a much better day? I'll be working in the morning but would be ok for 1 o'clock, possibly even 12 o'clock. I know the forecast could all still change but thought I would throw this it out there anyway.

I would second that. I have got to work Saturday morning too.

So have i ,but i also have other commitments for sat pm going into sat night .

Am also good for Saturday and not Sunday so let's not fish it of on Sunday and have it on satuurday......better than no comp at all!!

If you boys want to run a comp on saturday no problem with me i just can't make it .Nothing to stop the rest of you putting one on between yourselves . much as i would like to do it on either day . If the weather is still focasting to be crap come friday i will be calling sunday off any way .

If the weather for suday is still forcast as too bad for sunday i will cancel that comp for another day ,as i have already said i have other commitments for saturday pm ,but if the others are putting on another comp that is up to them .

Manx forecast now saying variable 2 -3 now for Sunday pm so don't rule out Sunday yet

thats right cam, the weather is due to be pretty horrible on sunday , so much so that there is talk of them cancelling the fluff comp on sunday

Think it will have to be the kayak launched at Fleshwick for Sunday, should get some shelter in close

Let's give it time lads. It could all change yet. The Manx forecast must have a reason for giving 5-10 variable?

A decision on sunday will be made by 10pm friday night ,if as it says it will be variable 5-10 on sunday then it will be on .

However ,if you boys still wish to run one on saturday i hope you have a good one .

If the comp is cancelled on sunday but it looks ok on Saturday then we aboard Wicked Hen will be having an afternoon of hassle free 'pleasure fishing' as we seem to have forgotten what this is lately!

Tomorrow is the day, heading out in the morning of PSM, search out some Plaice and then out for a Tope or 2!

With varing prospects of what the weather is going to do this week-end i will make it simple .the comp is off due to wind guru saying poor visability and winds up to 31 knotts ,wind e/s/e ,BBC ,IOM gives it as rain winds 22 knotts from s/e . Isle of man coastal waters says that wind from the s/e ,state of sea rough,spells of rain and poor visability ,do i need to go on .I have explored every avenue of the weather and there-fore with safety in mind i feel i have no other choice regretably .

However if i wake up on sunday and all is well i am up for an inpromtu comp .
