LOOKING COLD FOR THE WEEKEND



Evening update on potential cold spell this weekend.

The weather models continue to plot a very cold pool of air all the way from Russia.

Temperatures are exp...ected to drop to as low as -10 possibly lower across some parts of the British Isles this weekend, snow is likely in some parts initially but pressure looks to remain high, with a chance of some very snowy weather in to the next week ahead.

A lot of chopping and changing between very cold, snowy runs, and drier runs.

But I'll say one thing, get those hats and gloves ready as it's going to get a whole lot colder.

With the milder weather we have experienced of late, the coming weather will be like throwing us all in to a freezer.

We await the ECM update around 6:30-7:00 pm, will it show a winter wonderland?
