Just got an insurance quote for new boat, £216 only £3 more than my old boat. Apparantly having the powerboat level2 cert brings it down. Nice to have a pleasent surprise when it comes to the money pit that is boating Thumbs Up
That was with porthcawl by the way, anybody use anyone else?

Yes steve my insurance is with nautical yacht and motorboat through Pearsons and whilst i know that my boat is at the bottom end of the value stakes ,it costs me £128.75, with legal liabilities of £3,000,000,any one accident to£120,000,and any one person at £20,000.

This covers all private and social use and includes all uk coastal waters.

I presume all other policies are much the same.
