What do you think of starting the comp down in port st mary jamie ? we will prob be fishing down there anyhow ! Or starting day one from douglas and have a choice to start day two from port st mary ?some will save lots of fuel Or we can start from port st mary frist day and come back to douglas then day two go from douglas?

I have no problem with either senario ,to fish from PSM may increase the number of boats getting involved,i know merit 1 will be the hardest hit in all this but the larger picture may be of benifit to us all .If the weather is a little dodgy we may have more chance of keeping the comp on if we did fish from there .

I know that i won't please all the people all of the time but a change is as good as a rest and this sort of endeavour this year may prove benificial to all .

C'on then lets here the rest of you's thoughts then ,don't forget the more we have entered the more the prize fund is going to be .

Spoke to Big Gordie Paul the other day and if he gets his new boat over to the island in time (Lochin 33) he would be well up for fishing the 2 day open. Would get a good crowd on that boat!

dont forget its every man for himself in this one should be fun ha ha and yes i think a few hrs in Port Erin might be on the cards but dont tell anyone!

I think so but as with all things on here we listen to all ,and then make the decision ,normally i feel the right one . The regular lads on here that have been loyal to what i am trying to do with these comps have to have a voice in which direction we go .

Gonna bring my tent or rough it on the boat. I may not fish it anyhows. I'd rather do normal comp where itis a joint effort thus eliminating the - do we have to stay so last crew member can catch there species when all the rest have there's. I don't know about other boats but the prize money will be the boats to cover expenses ( and possibly my night in port St Mary ) so why have it an individual comp. What are the rules? 1 rod per crew member? How many hooks per crew member? Why net other crews members catch if u are competing etc

You like me will always be there because of the crack ,any way you don't think your the only one having a night out in Port st mary do you ,get a grip man you might acctually enjoy having to do a proper days fishing

It will be mass murder if we all have to keep our catch for weigh in. There's more to it than meets the eye fishing as individuals. ?

No murder it will run as per our normal rules and with crews on board all that is needed is a verification card ,photos for the large fish and a tick on the card for the others ,simples .
The full list of rules will be available shortly,so this will give all plenty of time to take them in and digest them , as i said earlier i will not be able to please every body all the time and if it fails "I" alone will fall on the sword ok ,you all wanted something different ,that is exactly what i am doing

It would how ever be nice just for fuck**ing once for there to be no negativity and just say yep that new thats different ,lets give it a go ,we never know we might just fuck**ing enjoy it and that there might be more than just 4 Shagg**ing boats out there ,am i getting through to you all now .
