The 2017 festival will again this year be run over two weekends.

The 1st part will be the Heaviest Pollack/Heaviest Flatfish and Heaviest Fish caught on an Eddystone Eel. This comp will take place on Sunday August 6th with booking -in at 10am, with fishing from 11:00am -19:00pm, with the weigh-in at 19:30.

The 2-Day ELAS BUSINESS SUPPORT Species Hunt will take place on the weekend of the 12th/13th August with booking-in on both days at 08:00 with fishing from 09:00 until 17:00 with the weigh-in on both days at 18:00.

These times have been decided upon so that we can all get our boats back into the harbour before the flap gate goes down.

I will at a later date publish a full list of rules and regulations for the 2017 Fishing Festival, WHICH WILL BE ADHERED TO.

I am keeping the August Bank Holiday weekend in reserve in case we have weather problems.

The prize presentation will take place on the 27th August
