Hi guys, on Manx.net there is somebody selling PARLOUR POTS, they look like small lobster pots. My question is: how dose the law stand if a none profiteering guy and his boat decides to put a pot in the bay for a night? Regards Paul

Hi Defender,
I thought that anyone doing a NON profit making POT drop still needs a licence, which i think still costs nothing. i sugest you have a word with Gary Bridson who fishes off Merit 1. I know that they have a NON commercial Pot Licence .
If you cant get Gary on here then ring him on 460764 and i am sure that Gary will tell you what you need or not need to do.
