We are now adding 2 more boat fishing days to the event, a small boats,2 day species hunt. It will run on the combined days of Friday 27th and Saturday 28th July 2012.

Still gonna have the shore comp for anyone that doesn't want to fish the 2 day comp, likes of anyone over to fish on charter boats and the likes.

Not allowed to name to the sponsor just yet, there will be some nice prizes though. I have just got to wait for the nod from the big man first.
The 2 days species hunt will be a per boat event instead of the individual. I am trusting "TEAM MINCE" will be out in force.....Wonder if "TEAM SHITTY CHIN" will be out too????

I'll wait for the comp format details and decide then. Probably have to fish in a rockpool to catch blennies, bullheads and butterfish if Cam gets his way

There will be a line drawn somewhere for the size of species that can be counted, its going to be for the likes of mini species/unclassified 100mm and the rest of the stuff usual size limits. I don't think I will waste precious hours looking for the mini stuff! :gone fishin':

100mm I'll have to get a butterfly net for the rock pool, why not unclassified at 20cm?

I heard that it is to be Tower insurance, what i asked was how big is the prize fund for the comp.

As said somewhere before, there is stuff that won't even grow to 20cm, 20cm would surely be a quite large Dragonet, for example?

Billy ,the mincey blue club is for those who fish with Quantum uptide rods,it was an in joke started by Cam after fishing on emmos boat and both micheal and i were fishing with them , they are a very good rod costing up to £130 delivered to the island but are like rocking horse shit to get hold of unless you know where to go .

As I said before, I can't say who and what right at this minute. Main reason, the sponsor needs to decide a name for the trophy and a few other little bits.

Right ish, but no name of has been decided by them as off them yet. Their marine insurance promotion starts in Feb, but unsure what they are going to call it.

They are really good rods Bill, Jamie and Emmo and even Martin Lambden manage to catch fish on them....I will stick to catching F all with my rods though!

Well as one time "CLASS " angler stated "luck" is temparary,but the "class" of the three is perminant.
