| Subject: WHAT E.V. GRACE WAS UP TO YESTERDAY 19/05/13 Tue May 21, 2013 4:50 am | |
| Went out yesterday afternoon primarily to give the boat a run after its recent ridiculously expensive service, weather was good but the fishing was poor by comparison with last year, seems that the march cold spell has delayed everything by a month. Headed to Laxey where last year we'd had plenty of Tope and spurs etc, but after 2 hrs all we'd had were Dogfish , Tub and Grey Gurnards, and Whiting. The Ray marks had Scallop boats going back and forward right through them so suspect that is another mark ruined. Headed south for a couple of hours over high and added a few Bull Huss, Coalies and Callig to the tally for the day. Going to leave the boat where it is till after TT week and hopefully things will have picked up. Admin316 |
