Today was the second of our charter boat matches.
14 anglers fished the match, fishing aboard Gemini and Scraayl.
Same format was from last match was used. Measure and return points, each species having a size limit in inches when size limit is reached, 1 point for the size limit and a point for every inch over that limit. For example, Pollock size limit is 17 inch, if you catch a 17 inch Pollock =1 point, 18 inch Pollock= 2 points and so on .........
Aboard Gemini, improvement on the fishing needed to be made since the last match, so they headed down to the Calf/Sound.... A sacrifice made on fishing time!
Scraayl kept it tactical and fishing local waters close to Port.
The results turned out pretty even this time, but the boy's aboard Scraayl scaped it and almost all the honors again, that extra time spent fishing seemed to pay off.
Aboard Gemini, the fishing was a big improvement on the previous match, with a steady flow of fish up the side of the Calf and in the Sound, but some points were lost due to the Seals being in a hungry mood!!!
