I have spoken to Rob Rennie this evening and all looks set for our outing to hunt the old Blue sharks in August. I have sent him an e-mail so that we can sort out the finer details of which i will let you know in due course.

He says the only equipment we need is your fav rod and reel with (braid ,"he said"), along with several sets of feathers, he will be providing all the sharking tackle including rods and reels.

I will get a list of hotels off him for us to stop at on the wednesday night and will keep you informed accordingly.

As its apparently a 5 hour steam to the shark grounds he will hopefully therefore leave very early in the morning and we may not even need a hotel on the Wednesday night, we can maybe just kip on the boat ?

Have spoken to Rob again today and he is perfectly happy for us to go straight to the boat and get our heads down and get off for an early start. If you want to go for a curry or /and a beer, no probs . Have sent you all a text which also contains the post code for Emmos sat/nav.

Will u ask him to forward some pics of the boat if u don't mind. Can't make out on his website what boat we will be fishing on. Just wouldn't mind checking it out before we go as his last boat sank when 3 weeks old. I hope it's got decent facilities if we are sleeping on it for 2 nights
