I have been having some disscusions with several anglers from the south of the island and in order to try and accomodate all who have shown an intrest in competing in this comp Kindly sponsered by ALLROUND FISHING and MANNIN ROOFING i think it may be more productive to start and finish the comps at port st mary .In fairness most of us fishing out of douglas and Laxey will spend most of our fishing time down there anyway and if it increases our turn out then it means even more money in the kitty to pay down the line ,thats got to be good for every one surely . I know that this is not going to sit well with all but i do feel that this is the right way to go to move our comps forward .

With all that said and done the new star times are as follows :

SATURDAY 2ND JULY ;FISHING 2PM TIL 8 PM .

SUNDAY 3RD JULY ;FISHING 12AM TIL 6PM .

The "booking in " will take place at 1pm on saturday at P.S.M outer break water ,where you will recieve all you documents for both days so they will be your responsibility to keep them safe until you hand them in at the end of each day .I will be arranging a small prize giving ceromony at the local pub to take place as soon as the final weigh in is finished .

Right then ,lets have them !!!!!!

If indeed this gets you more boats fishing it must be a good thing surely .

i think and hope it should bring a few more boats out with the start at port st mary,i am all for the start there as the boat is sited down south and it will make my life a bit easier

Cam have you put the entry forms into Kelvins ?,i hope that you spread the word down there in case Juan wants to take out some boys to fish the comp ,what about Gemini 11,?? i can't do alot more to try and get you southern boys involved ,i am working hard to make this work so hopefully it will become an annual event on the manx callender ,but all we can do is try .

Yeh, stuck a bunch of forms into kelvins. I would like to say Juan and the Bob would be interested, but doubt on it, but I will inquire.
John Payton seems very likely to do it, but i will keep pressing him to make it a dead cert, I will hopefully be fishing with him.
I still think that there is a good chance of getting 5-6 boats more from down Port st Mary, will get on the case for you when I get back from Norway. Also will press on big Geordie Paul, who is coming to Norway with us, hopefully get him to get his Lochin 33 over in time to fish the comp.
