Here are the rules for the 2022 AJH ASSOCIATES sponsored Manx Boat Fishing Festival: Please read carefully there are a few changes to previous rules: PLEASE TAKE NOTE: YOU CAN NOT SAY YOU HAVE NOT HAD SUFFICIENT WARNING FOR THE 2022 FESTIVAL

1.   4 RODS ONLY FISHING AT ANY ONE TIME

2.   4 PEOPLE MAXIMUM PER BOAT FISHING

3.    NO MORE THAN 12 HOOKS PER BOAT IN THE WATER AT ANY TIME

4.    ALL FISH MUST BE 20CMS OR ABOVE (UNLESS STATED ON CATCH VERIFICATION CARDS)

5.    POOL FISH MUST BE OF THE LEGAL SIZE REQUIREMENT

6.    ALL FISH TO BE PHOTOGRAPHED WITH THE DAYS CATCH CARD (INCLUDING LARGE FISH)

7.    IN THE EVENT OF A TIE THE COMBINED WIEGHT OF THE 2 POOL FISH WILL DETERMINE THE WINNERS

8.    THE WIEGH-IN WILL TAKE PLACE 1HR AFTER THE END OF EACH DAYS FISHING

9.    BOATS MAY LEAVE FROM ANY HARBOUR AROUND THE ISLE OF MAN

10.  BOATS MUST BE "INSIDE" THE HARBOUR BEFORE THE START OF EACH DAYS COMPETITION NOT IN ANY HARBOUR ENTRANCE (NO EXCEPTIONS FOR TIDAL CONDITIONS)

11.  AT LEAST 1 PERSON FROM EACH BOAT MUST BE AT THE "BOOK-IN" POINT EACH DAY "NO EXCEPTIONS"

12.  THE ORGANISERS DECISION IN ALL MATTERS WILL BE FINAL

This is a recreational tournament and all entrants to the competition do so of their own free will and at their own sole risk, understanding that injury, loss or death could occur.  The competition organisers, event staff or any parties associated with the event will not be held liable or responsible for any competitor’s costs, expenses or equipment at any time.  Check the relevant tides and weather reports for the competition venue before putting to sea and be prepared.
By entering this tournament, you give your permission to Manx Boat Fishing and authorised third parties to use your image in any future promotions or articles.
