I have been thinking long and hard about how to run the 2016 Fishing Festival this year, Tynwald Day once again does not favour the Festival being run over a three day period.

I have therefore made the decision that the Heaviest Pollack comp will be run on:

SUNDAY 7th AUGUST,H/W13:47, L/W 08:29, TIDE 9.1 MTR.

This comp will also include the Heaviest Flat Fish and the Heaviest Fish caught on an Eddystone Eel lure.

The 2 day Species part of the Festival will be run in AUGUST on the weekend of :

13TH: H/W 07:34, L/W 14:19, H/W 20:13 TIDE 7.1 MTR
14TH: H/W 08:49, L/W 15:27, H/W 21.18 TIDE 7.3 MTR.

Details of entry fees and rules will be posted very soon. I hope that this format with meet with every ones approval.
