Merit 1 were out toninght and it proved to be quite a good session. Visiting angler Dean Mallows who was here on buisness wit A to Z plumbing had a worthwhile trip and amonst other fish caught had a nice sizes Coalie.

Joint skipper Lee Graham not being outdone in any way was also amonst the decent fish with a Pollack of just under the 8lb mark.

But it was the returning to full fitness skipper Gary Bridson who stole the show tonight with a lovely Cod of 7lb.

The whole evening was a success and enjoyed by all 3 anglers, lets hope that these good fish are arpund for the 3 Day festival

All except the Coddy went back John, they never even brought me a Pollack.
