This year i will be running a raffle at the Festival with all the proceeds going to the Isle Of Man Breast Cancer Charity.

There are lots of finalising to to on this but i feel sure that you all will show your support.

Last year we were lucky that" Hardy1" with "Cam Sayle & Gary Newsome" donated their prize money to the same charity and it has got me thinking that we should look at giving a little back to help with this great cause.

I am not taking any prize fund money, only money raised from the raffle will be donated, unless you wish to donate any of your winnings, that is up to you.

I will also be wieghing up the cost of using the yacht club for the prize presentation and the laying on of the buffet , if it is reasonable i will book it as it will save my wife having to do the catering .

The function room is £100 for a member. This includes them sorting out the license. I think the buffet we had last time was £6 per head. I think the entrants should pay this extra £6 ontop of there entry money. Good guarantee that they will all come. The more the merrier.

I now have 30 of these tackle box or boat gunnel measures, these ones are measures up to 60cms , i have the rest coming in the next couple of days at 50cms which will be better for most tackle boxes . Apart from the postage all the money made from these is going to go to breast cancer. Therefore if you want one in mainland Britain they will cost you £2.50, and on the Island they will cost £2.

100% of this money will be going to the breast cancer research along with the money raised from the 3 Day Fishing Festival raffle money.

If any body wants one or more then please P/M me with your details, payment will be by cheque only i'm affraid, on recieving your cheque i will send out return of post.
