Tower Insurance Competition.

Saturday 15th September to Sunday 16th September.

Saturday. Tope comp, fishing 10am - 4 pm. Longest Tope per boat, fish length and sex must be specified. Open Area.

1st £200 2nd £100 3rd £50 4th £30 5th £20, plus additional tackle prizes from Moonfleet Angling.

Sunday Flattie Comp, fishing 10am-4pm. Heaviest flatfish per boat, flatfish brought to weigh-in. Zoned Langness to Bradda Head.

1st £200 2nd £100 3rd £50 4th £30 5th £20, plus additional tackle prizes from Moonfleet Angling.

Overall winner over 2 days, will win the Tower Insurance Plate. Overall winner will be decided on best specimen percentage over the 2 days.
Rules based on the same format used fishing per boat.... 12 hooks, 4 rods, min 2 anglers per boat etc etc.
Entry fee £10 per person
Entry forms will be available very soon, hopefully no longer than a couple of days.

For Day 1 (Tope, the percentage will be worked out based on a 40lb )

1st Boat 1-182cm Female Tope = 65lb 7oz Tope = 164.25%
2nd Boat 2-164cm Female Tope = 46lb 4oz Tope = 116%
3rd Boat3-180cm Male Tope = 42lb 9oz Tope = 107.25%

Day 2, Heaviest Flatfish.

1 Flatfish per boat must be brought to a weigh in.
Specimen sizes for Flatfish, altered to suit realistic sizes for the likely caught in the area.

Brill 1lb
Dab 1lb
Flounder 1lb
Plaice 2lb
Turbot 5lb
Sole 1lb

1st. Boat 2, 1lb 13oz Plaice = 90.62% + Day 1 @ 116% = 206.62 points
2nd. Boat 1, 1lb 3oz Plaice = 59.38% + Day 1@ 164.25% = 223.63 points
3rd. Boat 3, 1lb 1/2oz Dab =103.13% + Day 1@107.25% = 210.38 points

Tope Day, 1st Boat 1, 2nd Boat 2, 3rd Boat 3
Flatfish Day, 1st Boat 2 , 2nd Boat 1, 3rd Boat 3
Tower Insurance Plate winner (best overall) 1st Boat 1, 2nd Boat 3, 3rd Boat 2.

Is the size for the Turbot a little large ?? , when was the last time anyone acctually caught a sizeable one let alone one of 5lb+.

I resemble that i have never had oral sex with a Tope it is just a visous rumour,better look it up on google then Stevie boy ( under Birds and Bees) lol ROFL!
