Went on sunday on K3 with skip emery on what turned out to be a glorious day weather wise anyway. With bait caught at langness ,castletown was the venue for the pollack attack and after a long hard battle it was Emmo who had the upper hand with a fish just under the lb mark. yours truely lost a ling at the side of the boat and not long after it was off to the rough mark in search of the days pool Cod.

Once there the fishing was not great but on the first drift Micheal landed the one and only Cod of the day wieghing in at just over the 1lb mark. cuckoo wrasse also made a good show here so nice to see.

We had one last grasp effort at catching a few mackie on trhe way home but to no avail, we did however spot popoises hunting and on investigation we found that they were hunting herring which added another species to the day.

No pics were taken as ther was nothing exceptional caught, the only bad thing is that another £ went skips way and with only 3 to go to make it £10 the retiremant of admin looms even closer.
