| Hi guys, I have just bought a hand held Cobra Marine submersible radio. What are the major do's and don't with a marine radio. I know Houbour control is ch12 and Emergency is ch16 and I believe 6 & 8 are general ship to ship. Is it ok to find a chanel with a buddy and have a chat or do you organise a ch number before you leave. Any advice would be appreciated as I don't want to be the dickhead that everyone shouts at if you know what I mean. |

| I am being dragged off to Benidorm kicking and screeming for TT week with the wife and kids but hopefully when I get back I will get her in the water, might need some help and advise on the the day having never put a boat in sea off a trailer before.
