during the recent two day comp i had tried out a line from penn and it turned out to be a winner.
i was looking through a well known online tackle shop ( gerrys ) where i came across a clearence sale of braided line it was reduced to only £ 19.99 so i thought why not, it comes in 50lb breaking strain on 300yd spool in hi-viz yellow (handy when lines are crossed) and is on a parr with the berkley whiplash, and as thin.
i had no trouble fishing with this line even when the tip ring insert broke due to knocking it , it handled the tope , conger , spurs with no problem even with out the insert on the tip ring, i liked it so much i have another on the way before they sell out

just thought i would let you know as it is cheap at the minute

You must not be a proper angler as i fished along side Billy all week when he was useing this braid and he did not have one snap off at all ,he also caught plenty of good sized fish so i think you should keep your mouth shut about things you obviously don't know about .



Take this as a warning sir ,i don't want to but i will BAN you if you persist in talking about things you obviously know nothing about
