As a norm for the course Micheal ,all verbal and no money sent or handed over . I hope that this does not turn into a complete flop ,wont be very happy if it does , can't do any more ,just hope that the entries do start to come in and that it is not going to be the normal 4 or 5 boats .

tr1 will definately be there for the two day comp, holding entry due to my crew ( 2 ) making there minds up but they have a dead line, so might just have a space for one of the southern lads or someone, will keep you posted jamie
of course that this also has to do with where it starts as i am NOT dragging a trailer into douglas when i will be fishing the south, it would be a pointless for me to do that, hope you get more entries soon

That will be up to the 4 or 5 boats to discuss.If they want to we will,if not then we will s and f in douglas which ever is felt to be the most economical ,personnally i don't mind as most of the fishing will be done down there and if there are those of us that may wander way out west on the 1st day it may make sense to finish south on that day .but i am open to the best surgestions . I had thought about having the booking in the night before and then giving all boats the option of starting from there home ports if desired .If we have boats from down south we will have to do the wiegh in on both days there .The presentation as not been finalised yet as i do not know what the final numbers are likley to be .

TR1 if i get boats wanting to fish from south or any where like i just said i am looking at letting them start from their home port .This will then determine where i do the wiegh -in ..This would be an advantage to all if i have the booking -in the night before .

i am based down south as you know, i don't mind the option of starting from my home port then bringing the catch up to douglas for the weigh in but there will have to be a provision of travelling time as i have to clean down as well. on another note i am not worried where the presentation takes place because i don't do them, much prefer for you to give me the winnings straight after the weigh in on day 2

According to jamie he is quite "miffed" at the lack of entries for this comp. The way he was talking today he is going to think long and hard about running future comps after this one .He told me that he would rather give the sponsership back to all his backers than look like and i quote "PISSIN*" in the wind . I know jamie only wants to go fishing and have a laugh,but after taking to him today i get the impression that he is a long way from that .
He did say a while ago on this forum that if he failed it would be him and him alone who would fall on his sword as regards the success of the comps ,if he was on the edge of a cliff i who has known him through thick and thin as a young lad and his subciquant highs and lows know he won't take much to make him jump . He loves his web site and the people he now knows through it ,its just the rest he has doubts about . I can say all this as i know he wont wish to come clean and confess his true feelings (not like him i know ) but as he continually tells me "lifes a bitch then it kicks you in the bollocks ".
I have told him to F**K it get a rare drink down him and just get on with it
