Here are just a few of the wrecks that can be fished at the southern end of the island .this is not a complete list but it will hopefully be of some help and encourage you to go and try them .

CARMELITE. N.53.55.341 W.04.55.264. Depth 75mtrs
8.1n/miles sswof the calf of man ,11.4n/m from P.s.M,11.5n/m from P.Erin
Good for calig to 10lb ,good ling and conger have been taken off this wreck if the right tactics are applied .Several drifts may be needed to locate the fish due to the size of the wreck .

FENELLA ANNE. N.54.02.640.W04.47.840.Depth41mtrs
P.s.M 3n/m,C/town 5.7 n/m and P Erin 2.8n/m.
Only sunk in 2002and may be a waiting game to produce quality fishing but calig are there .

FLORANCE N.53.54.997. W04.39.415. Depth 50mtrs .
P.s M 9.7n/m,C/town 9.1n/m and Douglas 15.4n/m.
aproductive wreck at times with all sorts caught from the usual to gurnards and whiting .
Ling and conger are present there too.

MANCHESTER N.53.52.080. W.04.35.025. Depth 55mtrs.
P.s M 13.2 n/m,C/town12.4n/m 11.2n/m southof langness.
lots of calig and coalies ,best on spring tides ,ling and conger at slack water .

SKERRIES. N.53.51.185. w.04.21.730. Depth 53mtrs
P.s.M 18.6n/m,C/town 16.6n/m and from langness 15.4n/m.
large congers can be found here although fish very heavily in the 1980's and 1990's from charter boats from wales double figure calig and coalies can still be taken .

TUSKER.N.54.00.224. W.04.57.135. Depth 50mtrs .
P.s.M 9.1n/m,P.Erin 8.4n/m,Peel 16.4n/m 5.1n/mwsw off calf of man .
numerous calig and coalies,with the odd cod ,ling can be caught here aswell.

VIVID. N53.56.886. W.04.44.652. Depth 51mtrs .
P.s.M 7.6n/m,C/town 8.3n/m and douglas 15.3n/m.
calig and coalies mainly here due to heavy fishing in the 1980's .
You can still get the occational cod here though .

This is just a small selection of wrecks that can be found at the southern end of the island ,i hope it encourages some of you to try them .
