Booking -in for the 2019 Fishing Festival will take place on Thursday night at 19:00 at Douglas Yacht club.

The running order of the fishing will depend on the weather as you all will understand. I would like to run it as the original format with Species hunting on Days 1& 3, with the Callig and Flattie on day 2, but we will have to see what the weather does.


Entry fee is £50 per person, no exceptions for OAP's, but if you are under 16 the entry fee is £30.


I will get this one out of the way now too, boats may start from any port they wish, however at least one crew member from each boat must be at the booking-in spot each morning at 9am , it is not the responsibility of the organiser to alter this rule to suit the individual boat or boats. I hope that this is now clear to all Skippers.


The prize presentation will take place on Sunday 25th August and will be held at Douglas Yacht Club.


I will have a word with Douglas harbour regarding us using the floating pontoon as we will have to raft up together just to keep them happy.
