| The weather for next weekend is looking quite promising, i fancy putting on our delayed Xmas comp on Sunday 2 March. Booking in will be at the Douglas Yacht club at 9am and as soon as the flap gate goes down we will be off. We will of course all be back in for the wiegh-in before the flap gate comes up at approx 13:42 hrs. There is a big 10 metre tide on the day so the flap gate times may vary. Any way lets hope that we can get this comp on. I have got 4 off £15 vouchers for Teares Butchers of Ramsey to give away as additional prizes , these have very generously been donated by John Maddrell, Skipper of the charter boat "Trampie", a very big thanks John. I think that it is still too early to run this comp as a species one soit will be in the form of the Heaviest Calig or Cod. Admin316 |

| The comp will be as follows, You will fish for both Cod & Callig , photograph every one you catch regardless of size and then return to the sea. only keep the heaviest of either fish to wiegh in, these MUST be of Legal Size . The winning boat will be the one with the highest total of fish caught and they will get the meat vouchers, one for every crew member , The heaviest fish will take all the money . CLEAR !!!. There will be catch verification cards for the day and the fishcaught must also be on the measure when photographed , if not it will NOT count. Admin316 |
